Our Story

I grew up in a small village about 20 kilometers from Sialkot — a city most Americans have never heard of, yet one that quietly stitches nearly 70% of the world’s footballs and has produced every FIFA World Cup match ball since 1982. Sport was in the soil there. It was in me, too.

I’m the eldest of eight. When I turned 18, life stopped waiting — and the responsibility of my whole family landed on my shoulders. So I went to work in Sialkot’s sportswear factories. For seven years I learned the trade the hard way: every stitch, every fabric, every shortcut that cheapens a garment, and every detail that makes one truly great. In 2010, I bet on myself and started my own manufacturing.

Then in 2016 came the chance of a lifetime — to show my work at the American Football Coaches Association convention in San Antonio, Texas. Standing there, an ocean away from that village, I knew the dream was bigger than a factory floor. I brought everything I’d built, learned, and sacrificed, and put it under one name: Athletin — “Be Sporty.”

This is a 20-year journey — longer, really, if you count the struggle my father carried before me. The United States is my homeland now, and there’s no greater pride than building an American brand here, for American teams. Athletin isn’t just a brand to me. It’s my life’s work, my family’s resilience, and proof that a boy from a village can build something real in the country he now calls home. 🇺🇸
